Ilona Vass brings international management and intercultural experience from the aviation industry and her work in China (5 years) and Australia (20 years). She is on an inspiring mission: to improve the way people communicate with one another and to help them navigate challenging conversations with ease and dignity.
Today, Ilona works as a consultant and coach with the goal of fostering a more human, agile, and effective leadership culture. In her training sessions, coaching sessions, and facilitation sessions, she teaches how to take the pressure out of challenging communication.
She supports leaders in discovering and developing their full communication potential, and helps teams build an excellent communication infrastructure for their day-to-day work—always with an eye toward the uniqueness of each individual.
Her focus is on the demands of new hybrid work models, strengthening communication skills, and fostering and maintaining dignified interactions within team and multigenerational environments.
Ilona is fluent in German, English, and Mandarin. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and has been dancing since childhood—from ballet to Latin American dance to the classical Indian dance form Bharatanatyam.
