I’m British, but having lived in Munich for 30 years, I have a non-German perspective. An engineer by training, I worked at Intel for 17 years, leading marketing teams in the U.S. and across Europe, before finding my calling as a coach. As a lifelong athlete, I have an innate drive to set goals and achieve results, and I’ve always been fascinated by the psychology of motivation and success—and what it takes to bring out the best in people, whether in sports, business, or life in general.
Part of that is “what makes me tick”? How do I stay engaged and maintain high energy?
Especially in business, how we communicate plays a huge role in how we get things done. Being aware of miscommunication and quickly being able to adjust to a more appropriate style can help even the most challenging relationships.
